Chicken Sausages (Hot dogs)
Ingredients
• Chicken Mince 1 kg
• Cooked and grated Beetroot 3-4 tbsp
• Carrot ½, grated
• Garlic cloves 3, grated
• Chicken cube 1, grated
• Paprika powder 1 tsp
• Onion powder 1 tsp
• Black pepper powder as needed
• Salt to taste
• Tomato paste 2 tsp (or ketchup)
• Bread slices 3
Preparation
1. In a bowl, add minced meat.
2. Grate and add cooked beetroot, carrot, garlic, and a chicken cube.
3. Add salt, black pepper, paprika, onion powder, and tomato paste.
4. Grind bread slices into breadcrumbs and mix in.
5. Mix well; add more beetroot if needed for color.
6. Chop the mixture in a chopper into a fine paste.
7. Transfer to a piping bag.
8. Pipe sausages on greased parchment paper.
9. Boil water in a pan and add sausages.
10. Cook until they float (4–5 mins).
11. Heat 1–2 tbsp oil in a pan.
12. Sauté sausages until golden.
13. Serve in hotdog buns, topped with ketchup and mustard sauce and enjoy.
To Freeze:
14. Place mixture on cling wrap, roll into sausage, and wrap like candy.
15. Freeze for up to 3 months.
16. To cook, unwrap and boil frozen sausages, then sauté in oil.
