English Translation (Verses 100–111) 37:100 "My Lord, grant me a righteous son." 37:101 So We gave him the good news of a gentle and forbearing boy. 37:102 Then, when the boy reached the age where he could work alongside his father, Abraham said, "My dear son, I have seen in a dream that I am sacrificing you. Tell me what you think." He replied, "My dear father, do as you are commanded. If Allah wills, you will find me among the patient." 37:103 Then, when they both submitted to Allah's will, and Abraham laid him down on his forehead, 37:104 We called out to him, "O Abraham!" 37:105 "You have fulfilled the vision."
