Why Does Life Feel Empty? Quran Has the Answer| Surah Taha


 🌙 Introduction

“And whoever turns away from My Reminder will certainly have a miserable life, and We will raise him blind on the Day of Judgment.”
— Surah Taha, 20:124

This powerful verse is a serious warning from Allah. A person may have wealth, success, comfort, and everything the world can offer, yet turning away from Allah’s remembrance and guidance can leave the heart empty and life without true peace.

💭 Explanation

Allah warns that whoever deliberately turns away from His Dhikr (remembrance), guidance, and revelation will face a “miserable life” (ma‘ishatan dankan).

This does not necessarily mean that every person who turns away from Allah will have a life without money or worldly success. Rather, it points to a life lacking the inner peace, spiritual contentment, and tranquility that come from living with Allah’s guidance.

The verse then gives an even more frightening warning: on the Day of Judgment, such a person will be raised blind. The following verses explain that he will ask why he has been raised blind, and he will be reminded that he ignored Allah’s signs when they came to him.

This verse therefore calls us to remember Allah, follow His guidance, and never allow worldly distractions to make us forget our Creator.

Surah Taha 20:124 teaches us that true happiness is not simply found in wealth, possessions, fame, or worldly success. Real peace comes from remembering Allah and following His guidance.

It is also a powerful reminder that our choices in this temporary world have consequences in the eternal Hereafter.
