Islam Perfected 1400 Years Ago: A Timeless Faith

It has been forbidden for you to eat dead animals, blood, pork, and any animal on which a name other than Allah’s has been invoked. Also forbidden are animals that die by strangling, a severe blow, falling from a height, being gored by another animal, or being partially eaten by a wild animal—unless you slaughter them properly before they die. Animals sacrificed at places of worship (dedicated to idols) and dividing meat through gambling are also sinful.

Today, disbelievers have lost hope in defeating your religion, so do not fear them; instead, fear Me. Today, I have perfected your religion for you, completed My favor upon you, and chosen Islam as your way of life. However, if someone is forced by extreme hunger, without intending to sin, Allah is Forgiving and Merciful.

تم پر مردار، خون، سور کا گوشت اور وہ جانور حرام کیا گیا ہے جس پر اللہ کے علاوہ کسی اور کا نام لیا گیا ہو۔ اسی طرح وہ جانور جو گلا دبنے، چوٹ لگنے، بلندی سے گرنے، سینگ لگنے یا کسی درندے کے پھاڑنے سے مر جائے (حرام ہے)، مگر اگر تم نے اسے (مرنے سے پہلے) ذبح کر لیا ہو تو وہ حلال ہے۔ اور وہ جانور بھی حرام ہے جو کسی عبادت گاہ (بت پرستی کی جگہ) پر ذبح کیا گیا ہو، اور جوئے کے ذریعے تقسیم ہونے والی چیزیں بھی گناہ ہیں۔

آج کفار تمہارے دین سے مایوس ہو گئے ہیں، لہٰذا ان سے مت ڈرو، بلکہ مجھ سے ڈرو۔ آج میں نے تمہارے لیے تمہارا دین مکمل کر دیا اور اپنی نعمت تم پر پوری کر دی، اور اسلام کو تمہارے لیے دین کے طور پر پسند کیا۔ البتہ اگر کوئی شخص بھوک کی شدت سے مجبور ہو اور گناہ کی طرف مائل نہ ہو، تو اللہ اسے معاف کرنے والا اور مہربان ھے ( سورہ المائدہ 5)
