From Yusuf to Binyamin — Another Test, Same Faith

 English Translation (64–66)

Verse 64:
He (Yaqub عليه السلام) said, “Should I entrust him to you as I entrusted his brother to you before? But Allah is the Best Protector, and He is the Most Merciful of those who show mercy.”

Verse 65:
When they opened their luggage, they found that their money had been returned to them. They said, “O our father! What more can we ask for? Here is our money returned to us. We will get supplies for our family, protect our brother, and gain an extra camel-load of grain. That is an easy deal!”

Verse 66:
He said, *“I will not send him with you unless you give me a firm oath in the name of Allah that you will bring him back to me, unless you are completely helpless.” When they gave him their oath, he said, “Allah is a Witness over what we speak.”

📖 Short Story Summary

Yusuf’s brothers return to Palestine with grain. They insist on taking Binyamin (Yusuf’s real brother) to Egypt to receive more supplies. Yaqub (عليه السلام), heartbroken by losing Yusuf, refuses but finally agrees after they swear by Allah to protect him. Allah is acknowledged as the ultimate protector above all human promises.

📜 Description (for Posts / YouTube / Blogs)

These verses portray the emotional pain of a father who once lost his beloved son and now fears losing another. Despite the promises of people, Yaqub places his trust in Allah, acknowledging that true protection is only from Allah, even when we take worldly measures. This teaches reliance, patience, and faith during hardship.
