 Surah Al-Hijr: Ayat 61–66

سورۃ الحجر: آیات 61 تا 66

📖 Introduction:

These verses narrate the dramatic arrival of angels at the home of Prophet Lut (Lot) to execute Allah’s punishment on his people. This portion reveals the moment when Prophet Lut tries to protect the guests (angels in human form), and the immorality of his people is exposed. The verses depict the severity of divine justice, the destruction of corrupt societies, and the unwavering command of Allah.

🌟 English Translation:

61. Then when the messengers (angels) came to the family of Lot,
62. He said, “Indeed, you are unfamiliar people.”
63. They said, “But we have come to you with what they used to doubt.”
64. “And we have brought you the truth, and indeed, we are truthful.”
65. “So travel with your family during the night and follow behind them, and let none among you look back, and go where you are commanded.”
66. And We decreed for him that the last remnants of those people would be eliminated by morning.
📜 Urdu Translation:

آیت 61:
پس جب (فرشتے) لوط کے گھر والوں کے پاس آئے۔

آیت 62:
اس نے کہا: "تم لوگ تو اجنبی لگتے ہو۔"

آیت 63:
انہوں نے کہا: "بلکہ ہم آپ کے پاس وہ (عذاب) لے کر آئے ہیں جس میں یہ لوگ شک کرتے تھے۔"

آیت 64:
"اور ہم آپ کے پاس حق کے ساتھ آئے ہیں، اور ہم یقیناً سچے ہیں۔

آیت 65:
"پس آپ رات کے کسی حصے میں اپنے گھر والوں کو لے کر نکل جائیں، اور آپ ان کے پیچھے پیچھے چلیں، اور تم میں سے کوئی بھی مڑ کر نہ دیکھے، اور جہاں تمہیں حکم دیا جائے، وہاں چلے جانا۔"

آیت 66:
اور ہم نے اس کے لیے یہ فیصلہ کر دیا تھا کہ صبح ہوتے ہی ان مجرموں کی جڑ کاٹ دی جائے گی۔
