The Pain of an Orphan in Islam

 

Translation (Easy English)

Verse 2

Give orphans their wealth and do not replace good things with bad, and do not mix their wealth with yours. This is a great sin.

Verse 3

If you fear you cannot be fair with orphan girls, then marry other women you like—two, three, or four. But if you fear you cannot be just, then marry only one. That is better so you do not ظلم (do injustice).

Verse 4

Give النساء (women) their dowry with a happy heart. But if they willingly give you some of it, then take it with ease and comfort.

Verse 5

Do not give your wealth (under your care) to those who cannot manage it. Instead, provide for them from it, clothe them, and speak kindly to them.
