The Quran’s Formula for Ending Conflicts
Surah Al-Hujurat (9–11)
🌿 English Translation (9–11)
9. If two groups of believers fight each other, make peace between them. But if one group transgresses against the other, fight the one that transgresses until it returns to the command of Allah. Then if it returns, make peace between them with justice and fairness. Indeed, Allah loves those who act justly.
10. The believers are but brothers, so make peace between your brothers. And fear Allah so that you may receive mercy.
11. O you who believe! Let not one group mock another group; perhaps they may be better than them. Nor let women mock other women; perhaps they may be better than them. Do not insult one another nor call each other by offensive nicknames. Evil is the name of disobedience after faith. And whoever does not repent — such are the wrongdoers.
