Would You Eat Your Dead Brother? 😳 | Surah Hujurat’s Shocking Warning!
English Translation (12–14)
12. O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion; indeed, some suspicion is sin. Do not spy nor backbite one another. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You would hate it. And fear Allah. Indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance, Most Merciful.
13. O mankind! We created you from a male and female and made you nations and tribes so that you may know one another. Indeed, the most honorable of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous. Indeed, Allah is All-Knowing, All-Aware.
14. The Bedouins say, “We believe.” Say, “You have not believed; rather say, ‘We have submitted,’ for faith has not yet entered your hearts. But if you obey Allah and His Messenger, He will not deprive you of your deeds. Indeed, Allah is Forgiving, Merciful.”
