Bhindi/Okra/Ladyfinger 250 gm
Chopped Onion 1 medium
Crushed Green chilies 2 tbsp
Turmeric Powder 1/2 tsp
Cumin seed 1 tsp
Salt to taste
Blanched Chopped Tomatoes 2
Cooking Oil 4 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tsp
How to Make Dum Bhindi/Okra / Lady Finger
Select okras of a uniform, medium size; wash and dry well. Top and tail and keep aside.
In a kadhai, heat the oil and fry Cumin seed,
Add onion & green chili cook til brown
Then add tomatoes Turmeric powder ,salt and saute for 2 minutes.
Add tomatoes cover the lid & cook for 2 minute until tomatoes get's soft then add Bhindi/Okra/Ladyfinger .
Cover & cook for 2 minutes
When done, turn out into a serving dish and serve hot with chapatis.
